A CALL FOR ARTISTS OF THE BLOOMING
I have a wild story burning in my head. The kind of story that keeps you up at night and keeps knocking at the back of your skull.
That there are perhaps a few thousand artists on this earth, as souls at this moment of time who are meant to gather. Who are meant to find their way to one another’s door.
These will be painters and poets, lyricists and musicians. They will come from all backgrounds and cultures and together they will form a collective of artists created with a single purpose. To kick-start the revolution of the soul of our world. To start the party. To kick off the great coming out of humanity through crisis and collapse. To create art that has the power to bring humanity together beyond stories and borders. To create art so potent it shakes the machine we are living in clean to the bones.
These artists will come in many forms. Some will be shakers of the machine. Some will be revealers and tricksters of the cracks. Some rousers of renaisance. Some here to rev the revolution. Some here to stir the soul. Some to inspire the beauty. Some to support us to remember who we are.
I have this story that on a soul level there are artists who have been born at this time to rouse a renaisance in the heart of humanity, the kind of renaissance that can only come from art being created from the crack of living in a world that is falling apart and in the quaking and the shaking and the collective not knowing but the daring to dream that despite the heart-break and the horror, everything changes now, that there is hope not inspite of the crises we are living through but because of them.
I see in five years time stadiums full of artists of the blooming rocking out the heart of humanity as the civilisation we have burns and another one through us aches to come through.
I have this story that at the end it will be art, and creativity that will show the way through, that only the wild symphonic note of creation will be left in our hearts and between us that will be enough and we'll each sigh with recognition of music of the universe living through us once more.
Maybe something stirs deep in your bones. Maybe your heart comes alive at this call, at the thought of artists riding out on the coat tails of one civilisations collapse and fall, ringing the bell that this isn't an end, but a beginning, not a breaking apart, but a cracking through, a revealing.

Are you an Artist of the Blooming?
Artists of the Blooming - Creating from the Cracks is an eight week crucible for artists who are wishing to work thematically with their own art in relationship with collapse, transition, emergence, and creative revolution.
It is a specifically curated space to deepen your artistic practice in relationship with how it speaks into, touches, and impacts our world.
We enquire what role art can play in the times we are living through, how we create as artists within the cracks and liminal space of living inside crisis, systemic breakdown and transition.
We will work together as a collective, in support and allyship of one another’s artistic and creative growth and flourishing.
KEY THEMATIC PIECES WE WILL EXPLORE TOGETHER
CREATING FROM THE HEART OF CRISIS
Each of us carries a unique connection and relationship to the times we are living through. We’ll explore the landscape of the heart of crisis and how we can create from this place. The heart-crack is a place where our own personal grief and longing for the world connects in with and speaks to the whole. We’ll explore how we creatively respond from this place, being curious about the unique heart-cracks we hold inform the landscape for our art.
THE ROLE OF ART AND CREATIVITY IN OUR TIMES
We believe that art and creativity plays a specific and key role during the times we are living through, in reimagining our world, in supporting us to touch the depth of our humanity, in revving revolution, in rousing the possibility of hope among the rubble of our world. We’ll explore this together as a group, working with key creative archetypes.
WORKING WITH THE TORCH-BEARERS
For thousands of years, artists have held a flame alive for the soul of humanity, for the possibility of beauty, grace, humanity, art, connection in our world. It is powerful to connect in with the torchbearers that have gone before and how our own artist flames connect with theirs.
We explore here on a level of soul and spirit what it means to connect with artists with the torchbearers and how this imbues and enlivens our own creative flames.
KEY ARTISTIC PIECES WE WILL EXPLORE TOGETHER
CREATIVE PRACTICE
We’ll focus on developing your creative practice. The aim of creating an online container of eight weeks for artists to dive into their art is designed to create spaciousness for people to dedicated specific structured time for their work during this time.
CRAFT
We’ll work on how to develop your craft, looking at artists, poets and creatives and how they have intentionally developed their craft over significant periods of time, understanding art here as a process of deepening and development.
CREATIVE AMBITION
We see developing creative ambition as key to creating art that can effect change. During the eight weeks we’ll be connecting to other artists who have held a balance of craft and creative ambition, and who we can learn from to do the same.
EXPRESSION
How do we express our art? How do we live as artists of the blooming and as creative revolutionaries? Here we will explore our expression as artists, how we express and what factors and blocks limit and hinder our artistic expression.
MANIFESTATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
We’ll explore and support one another in the process of manifestation and implementation of our creative visions, exploring pathways to bringing our art to the world.
